On September 19, Changsha Construction Machinery Industry Association held a seminar on the preparation of the Talent Construction Committee, and conducted an in-depth discussion on the current difficulties and solutions of talent cultivation and the plan of the Talent Construction Committee. The meeting invited representatives of Hunan University, Changsha University, Sany Institute of Technology, Hunan Mechanical and Electrical Vocational College and other undergraduate and higher vocational colleges, representatives of Zoomlion, Railway Construction Heavy Industry, Sunward Intelligent and other construction machinery enterprises to participate, and Yuan Zhen, Secretary-General of the Association, presided over the meeting.

As one of the first 15 advanced manufacturing clusters to be cultivated in the country, Changsha Construction Machinery Industry Cluster has made remarkable achievements in recent years in terms of global market competitiveness, leading enterprise strength, professional division of labor and cooperation network, industrial chain development level and innovation ability. However, with the continuous expansion of industrial scale and continuous upgrading of technology, the shortage of high-end technical talents, management talents and compound talents has become increasingly prominent, which has become a bottleneck restricting the further development of the industry.

Yuan Zhen proposed that the association expects to unite the government, associations, enterprises, schools, scientific research institutions and other forces to jointly prepare for the establishment of a talent construction committee, committed to building a talent supply and demand information platform, building a training base for the integration of production and education, exploring a new model of talent training, providing solid talent support for the sustainable development of the construction machinery industry, and solving the problems of enterprises "want to use people, but can't afford to use people".

The participants had a heated discussion on the current difficulties and solutions of talent cultivation. The representative of the enterprise said that the current industry is facing the shortage of overseas market talents, high-end technical talents and management talents, and hopes that through the establishment of the Talent Construction Committee, strengthen cooperation with universities and jointly cultivate high-quality talents in line with the needs of the industry. Representatives of colleges and universities put forward valuable opinions on the current situation of talent cultivation and the school-enterprise cooperation model, and said that they will actively communicate with enterprises, strengthen information sharing and exchange, and work together to cultivate more outstanding talents for the industry.

Zhou Bowen, deputy director of the Human Resources Public Service Center (High-level Talent Service Center) of Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, said that talent is the core driving force to promote industrial development, and the Economic and Technological Development Zone has formulated policies such as talent introduction, and has continuously improved the talent service system, optimized the talent development environment, and strived to provide a broad stage for all kinds of talents to display their talents. He emphasized the importance of the Talent Construction Committee of the Association to promote industry-university-research cooperation and implement talent strategies, and hoped that the committee could promote full cooperation among all parties, integrate resources, promote the deep integration of education chain, talent chain and industrial chain, technology chain and innovation chain, and lay a solid talent foundation for the vigorous development of the industry.

In addition, the meeting also had a detailed discussion on the plan of the Talent Construction Committee of the Association, and collected the suggestions of the participants on the construction of the Talent Committee. The plan clarifies the objectives, organizational structure, working mechanism, work content and safeguard measures of the Talent Development Committee, and provides strong guidance for follow-up work. In the next step, the association will further improve the content of the program according to the spirit of the meeting, accelerate the preparatory work of the talent construction committee, and inject vitality into the sustainable development of Changsha's construction machinery industry.
