The "R&D and Industrialization of 5G Heavy Duty Handling Intelligent Equipment" project aims to optimize the key core technologies of intelligent heavy duty handling equipment and provide an overall solution for intelligent material handling equipment in multiple application scenarios by building an intelligent material handling equipment test base. The project was launched in January 2021 and lasted for three years, with a total investment of up to 28 million yuan, of which 1 million yuan was injected into special financial funds, providing strong support for the project.

During the implementation of the project, the Tianqiao Jiacheng project team focused on technological innovation, and with excellent technical strength and unremitting innovation spirit, it conquered a number of key core technologies and developed a variety of new products and application scenario solutions.

The project has made breakthroughs in optimizing a number of key core technologies, including but not limited to intelligent anti-sway, precise positioning, material identification, path planning, 5G remote control, security monitoring, warehouse management system and scheduling management system. Among them, the intelligent anti-sway technology realizes the swing amplitude of the spreader ≤0.14°, and the static ≤ 2 swing cycles, far exceeding the level of similar products in the market; In terms of precise positioning technology, the positioning accuracy of the large car and the small car is improved to ±3mm and ±2mm respectively under the three-axis linkage of the unmanned overhead crane, which provides a solid guarantee for efficient and accurate intelligent material handling operations.

At the same time, the project has successfully incubated a series of new products and new scenario solutions. In the field of iron and steel nonferrous metals, the intelligent upgrade of various application scenarios such as plate handling, bulk material handling, copper smelting anode plate transfer, cathode copper finished product handling and 5G remote control has been realized, with a degree of automation reaching 100%, subverting the traditional material handling mode; In the construction machinery industry, with the support of intelligent heavy-duty material handling equipment, it has developed and created an intelligent cutting and sorting system to meet the needs of specific application scenarios for leading enterprises such as Sany, XCMG, Zoomlion, Liugong, etc., covering multiple processes such as heavy-duty conveying, cutting and cutting, sorting and palletizing, and the degree of automation has reached 100%, which has greatly improved production efficiency and safety and quality assurance.

In addition, the project has also made great efforts to build a test base for intelligent material handling equipment integrating R&D, testing and display, which provides fertile soil for technological innovation and accelerates the incubation and application of new technologies and processes.

The 5G heavy-duty handling intelligent equipment and application scenario solutions developed by the project have effectively solved a series of problems such as low operation efficiency, difficult information interaction, high safety risk and poor working environment in traditional manual material handling and warehouse management in iron and steel metallurgy and other industries, realized the automation of material handling operations, data informatization, network collaboration and intelligent decision-making, and provided an efficient and reliable solution for the intelligent transformation and upgrading of the industry.
