Construction machinery is one of the 17 key industrial chains in Changsha, which is transforming and upgrading in the direction of intelligence, digitalization and internationalization, becoming a typical representative of new quality productivity, giving full play to the comparative advantages of water transportation costs, and continuously deepening the integrated development of Hong Kong industry parks, opening up upstream and downstream logistics channels, effectively reducing enterprise logistics costs, and accelerating the promotion of Hunan construction machinery industry to go to sea.

At the symposium, 9 construction machinery representative enterprises, including Zoomlion, Railway Construction Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., and Sunward Intelligence, introduced the water-suitable products for going to sea, and put forward the problem of blocking points such as major wharves to be built and the strong demand for large-tonnage cranes. Port operators and waterway transport enterprises respectively introduced the port infrastructure, transport capacity, etc., as well as the cooperation space brought by the construction of the first-class waterway from Changsha to Chenglingji on the Xiangjiang River and the three-line lock of the Xiangjiang Changsha comprehensive hub for the development of waterway transport services in the future, and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the difficult problems and needs of waterway transportation raised by construction machinery enterprises.

  

 

Since the beginning of this year, the city's port and shipping enterprises have relied on the "Port Industry Park" docking and signing activity platform to give full play to the comparative advantages of water transportation costs, strengthen the role of the port hub and distribution function, and expand Changsha's 100 billion industrial clusters such as construction machinery and rich "Hunan products" to go to sea. From January to July, Hunan Province exported 19.44 billion yuan of construction machinery, a year-on-year increase of 25%, of which the export of waterway transportation was the mainstay, reaching 16.15 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 26.7%.

Chen Kang, deputy secretary-general of the association, mentioned that construction machinery is one of the key industrial chains in Changsha, and it is transforming and upgrading in the direction of intelligence, digitalization and internationalization. In order to help Changsha's construction machinery 100 billion industrial cluster accelerate its going to sea, it is necessary to give full play to the cost comparative advantage of water transportation and continue to deepen the integrated development of "port industry park". At the same time, the association also called on port operators to improve infrastructure, improve service levels, and provide more convenient and efficient water transportation services for construction machinery enterprises.

Ou Jing pointed out that water operation is an important part of transportation, and has the comparative advantages of large transportation capacity, low cost and low energy consumption. This docking symposium is a sequel to the development of the "Hong Kong Industrial Park" docking and signing activities in June this year, and it is an effective move for the water transport industry to take the initiative to dock and serve the 100 billion industrial cluster of Changsha construction machinery to accelerate the going to sea and reduce the logistics cost of the whole society.

  

 

First, we must give full play to the comparative advantages of water transportation and help the construction machinery industry to accelerate its going to sea. The scale of the construction machinery industry in our province is the first in the country, as the domestic market is gradually close to saturation, the future of major opportunities and development space lies in the development of overseas markets, such as Sany Heavy Industry, Sunward Intelligence, Xingbang Intelligence and other major construction machinery enterprises overseas revenue has accounted for more than 30%. It is necessary to vigorously develop river-sea intermodal transport, water-water transit, and container transportation, create integrated and full-chain high-quality logistics services for cargo owners, promote the integrated development of advanced manufacturing industries such as transportation logistics and construction machinery, and strategic emerging industries, and transform the comparative advantages of water transportation costs into industrial development advantages and reduce the logistics costs of the whole society.

Second, it is necessary to optimize the layout of ports and terminals and promote the integrated development of port industry parks. Further strengthen the research on the needs of construction machinery enterprises, accurately connect with national and provincial support policies, actively plan and coordinate the layout and construction of heavy and large terminals in Changsha Port, and improve the port collection and distribution system. Guide port operating enterprises to improve the equipment of large-tonnage hoisting machinery and equipment, open up convenient channels for water freight transportation of construction machinery, solve the problems of berthing and loading and unloading faced by large construction machinery and large-scale equipment in waterway transportation, and improve the ability to serve the export of Changsha's 100 billion manufacturing cluster products.

Third, we must optimize port and shipping logistics services and broaden the channels for industries to go to sea. Port and shipping enterprises should strengthen the level, specialization and customized management services of smart water transport logistics, accelerate the application of advanced information technology and intelligent systems, and improve the efficiency of port operations and the level of smart water transport logistics services. Develop more international logistics channels suitable for Changsha construction machinery to go to sea, guide enterprises to accelerate the production and design of non-standard products, accelerate the formation of all-round, multi-channel multimodal logistics channels, and provide one-stop services for the whole process of shipping agency, freight forwarding, booking, customs clearance integration.

Fourth, we must strengthen mutual communication and cooperation, and promote development through two-way empowerment. The Municipal Water Transport Affairs Center will increase coordination and dispatch and service guarantees, and continue to make efforts in the docking of port industry parks, policy guidance, infrastructure layout and construction, and government services. Promote port and shipping enterprises and construction machinery enterprises to improve the linkage and docking mechanism, and help construction machinery enterprises and water transport enterprises to cooperate efficiently. Port and shipping enterprises should strengthen point-to-point and face-to-face communication and docking with construction machinery enterprises, scientifically provide targeted and customized services, and help construction machinery enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency in the whole cycle, all-round and full chain, and accelerate their going to sea.
