      Sime Darby Xinchang Engineering Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Malaysian multinational group Sime Darby. It was established in 1928 and became an authorized Caterpillar agent in 1962. The agency area covers the six provinces in southern China, Xinjiang, Hong Kong and Macao. The agency products are Cat® generator sets, engines, microgrid products and construction machinery. The products are widely used in commercial buildings, government agencies, airports, factories, ships, construction machinery, agricultural machinery and oilfield equipment. The equipment includes a full range of crawler excavators, wheeled excavators, medium bulldozers, graders, loaders and other earthwork equipment; road equipment such as milling machines and compactors; construction equipment such as skid loaders and small bulldozers; and mining equipment such as off-road trucks and large bulldozers.

      Sime Darby Xinchang Machinery Engineering (Hunan) Co., Ltd. was established in 2010. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sime Darby Xinchang (South China) Co., Ltd. under Malaysia's Sime Darby Group. As the exclusive agent of Caterpillar in Hunan, it focuses on the sales, after-sales service, leasing and technical support of construction machinery and power equipment. Its business covers a full range of products such as excavators and generator sets, and it has branches in many places in Hunan.
