In the face of the severe situation of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus, in accordance with the Party Central Committee and the State Council ’s decision-making and deployment, all the country ’s medical staff dedicated themselves and fought bravely. Being united, people work together and form a situation of comprehensive mobilization, comprehensive deployment, and comprehensive strengthening of epidemic prevention and control.

Construction machinery equipment is important engineering construction equipment for rescue, and companies in this industry are actively responding to the call of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, quickly join the various fronts to fight the Novel Coronavirus, and actively extend a helping hand to the epidemic area. All kinds of construction machinery equipment fought day and night, and raced against time. In just ten days, construction of Huoshenshan Hospital has been completed with a total construction area of 33,940 square meters and a capacity of 700 to 1,000 beds, attracting global attention of China’s infrastructure speed. And regardless of cost, people in this industry spared no effort, mobilized global channel resources, purchased all kinds of materials urgently needed for epidemic prevention and control and donated them to epidemic prevention departments at all levels. Their practical actions shows the sense of responsibility of a great country. In the face of the serious epidemic, construction machinery companies have taken on social responsibilities one after another and contributed great love to the country. The Association invited about 12 member units to share their actions to fight against the epidemic.

Fighting the Epidemic, Construction Machinery Companies are Making Efforts (in no particular order)

Sany Group

Sany Group mobilized more than 500 overseas marketing service personnel and more than 400 partners for global procurement for the first time. A total of 3.9 million masks and 130,000 sets of protective clothing were purchased from overseas and shipped back to China. Some anti-epidemic relief materials were transported by special plane and were donated to the units most in need of epidemic prevention and control through the Red Cross Society of Hunan Province to help win the epidemic prevention battle.

At the same time, Sany engineering equipment and personnel actively participated in the construction of Wuhan Huoshenshan Hospital and Leishenshan Hospital. Since receiving construction tasks, 41 Sany cranes, 8 pump trucks, 35 mixer trucks, 22 excavators, a total of 106 equipment worked for 24 hours a day and overcame various adverse effects, to successfully complete all construction tasks within a few working days. In addition, during the construction of the North Hospital of the First Hospital of Changsha City, in the "Xiaotangshan" hospitals in brother provinces such as Huanggang Dabie Mountain Regional Medical Center, Guangxi Yongwu Hospital, Xi'an Public Health Center, Fuqing City Hospital, Zhengzhou Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Isolation Room, etc., Sany used a familiar method to contribute.

Zoomlion

Zoomlion is fully supporting the construction of emergency hospitals across the country. Through the company's Internet of Things platform, it quickly mobilized more than 100 sets of engineering machinery equipment of the company, and invited the customers of earthwork, engineering, concrete machinery, and high-tech machines to work together. At the same time, it arranged dozens of service engineers and machinists from Zoomlion to form a project team to help the construction of projects. From January 23 to the present, more than 250 products have been mainly involved in the construction of various hospitals around the country, including concrete machinery equipment, crane equipment, and excavators, bulldozers and aerial work machinery equipment which participated in the construction of various hospitals including Wuhan Huoshenshan, Leishenshan Hospital, “Xiaotangshan” Hospital in Hunan, Shenzhen, Henan, Guangxi, Tianjin and other places and other related hospitals.

Zoomlion also mobilized all to give full play to the advantages of the localization of the global base, actively coordinated global resources, carried out "global purchase of medical materials for epidemic prevention and control", and "seamless and timeless" docking on a global scale. It made efforts to search and purchase medical protective masks, gloves, goggles, protective clothing and other materials that are urgently needed for epidemic prevention work. They are purchased or donated from Germany, Italy, Russia, Bangladesh, Turkey, Pakistan and other countries. Till February 15th, Zoomlion has donated more than 2.6 million sets of medical protective materials to the front line to contribute to the epidemic prevention work.

While fighting the epidemic, Zoomlion also launched a customer recovery and production support activity. On February 11th, Zoomlion sent 120,000 medical protective masks purchased independently to alliance customers, agents and overseas staff throughout the country, fully supported the safe and orderly resumption of production of customers and overseas staff, and the vast number of customers joined hands together to build a community.

Sunward

Sunward is making efforts to race against time, save lives from the epidemic, strive to win the war of the epidemic! On January 23, after hearing that the construction of Wuhan Huoshenshan Hospital required a lot of materials, Sunward organized resources and mobilized masks and other materials and delivered them to the construction site of the "Huoshenshan" hospital in Caidian Zhiyin Lake on the night of the 24th. On the afternoon of January 25th, knowing that Wuhan will build another Leishenshan Hospital and need equipment support, Sunward assembled several equipment to the construction site as soon as possible to contribute to the construction of Leishenshan Hospital. On February 5, the Sunward SA60L (Arora) aircraft delivered a batch of emergency medical rescue materials to Wuhan Children's Hospital efficiently, and successfully completed the emergency air transshipment task of "Wuhan Hannan-Fuyang-Wuhan Hannan". Sunward organized employees, customers and agents to take active actions, accumulatively donated funds and masks and other materials totaling 358,000 yuan, taking social responsibility and contributing to the fight against the epidemic!

CRCC

The war against Novel Coronavirus pneumonia started, and the workers of CRCC were not afraid of hardship and danger, and used their responsibilities to build a "wall of love" for the epidemic prevention and control. Until 2 a.m. on February 14, after more than 5 hours of unpacking, inventory, and shipping, the first batch of medically needed epidemic prevention materials donated by CRCC was fully loaded and completed. The total value of donated first-line medical and epidemic prevention materials was 10.26 million yuan, a total of 141,897 pieces, including 101,960 medical masks, 38,198 sets of protective clothing, 1,739 pairs of goggles, a total of 8.4 million yuan. But the pace of CRCC's fight against the epidemic situation has not stopped. The second batch of 10,000 sets of protective clothing purchased by CRCC that are in short supply of medical epidemic prevention materials will also be delivered to Changsha in the near future to support the frontline of anti-epidemic.

Sinoboom

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Sinoboom has been fighting the epidemic, not only got in touch with the China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. in the first time and responded quickly through its strategic partner-Zhongneng United Digital Technology Co., Ltd. (abbreviation: Zhongneng United), but also supported the construction of Wuhan Leishenshan Hospital. At the same time, Sinoboom arm truck GTBZ26 also served Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital under reconstruction (it was used in 2003 for the treatment of SARS patients). The hospital is expected to be reopened. The Sinoboom arm truck is mainly used for the construction of hospital steel structures.

Not only that, Sinoboom also established an epidemic prevention and control emergency team to quickly mobilize global resources to purchase epidemic prevention materials. On February 3, it has purchased the first batch of epidemic prevention materials in place including 50 thermometers, 1580 pieces of protective clothing, and 1000 pieces of goggles, and donated them to the Ningxiang Disease Control and Prevention Center within the first time; on February 4, the second batch of anti-epidemic materials (100,000 medical masks) were delivered to Ningxiang Disease Control and Prevention Center in time to continue supporting local governments.

In order to ensure the safety of workers, Sinoboom also provided 136,000 disposable medical masks to the national aerial work platform industry for free. It fought side by side with workers who are working on the front line of this battle.

Jixie Zhijia

Jixie Zhijia provided free repair parts and online technical support for all construction machinery equipment (excavation machinery, hoisting machinery, pumping machinery) that participated in the construction of Wuhan Huoshenshan Hospital and Wuhan Leishenshan Hospital during the construction period. Through WeChat, telephone and other forms, it checked the status of customers online, cared about the impact of the customer on the epidemic situation and the demand for money, and provided professional and warm service. As one of the suppliers of the construction task of Wuhan Leishenshan Hospital and Wuhan Huoshenshan Hosipital, Changsha Longxin Energy Saving Doors and Windows Co., Ltd. has undertaken the construction task of the 300,000 square meters of bathroom panels in the two hospitals. The Bank of Changsha Small Business Credit Center granted the company a credit of 1 million yuan through Changxiang Loan to increase its inventory. Company principal Wu Benfu said that this credit has played an important role in this temporary emergency mission, solving part of the funding needs and ensuring the production schedule. At present, all the plates needed for the Wuhan Huoshenshan Hospital have been shipped to Wuhan, and the construction work is smooth. For customers severely affected by the epidemic, Bank of Changsha Small Business Credit Center helped small and micro enterprises to survive the epidemic by delaying the repayment period, extension, extending loan time, borrowing new and returning loans, and reducing the loan process.

Hunan University

With their excellent professional skills and pioneering ambition, they have contributed to the majestic "Hunan University Power"!

For infectious disease hospitals, especially respiratory infectious disease hospitals, ventilation, purification and medical gas systems are the key to the success of the entire hospital design. Chen Yanhua, an alumnus of Hunan University ’s heating and air-conditioning major(1979), Yin Chuanjun, an alumnus of Hunan University ’s heating ventilating and air conditioning major(1990), and Xia Xuhui, an alumnus of Hunan University’s HVAC major(1990) are designers of the Ventilation System of Wuhan Huoshenshan Hospital. It only took them 24 hours from receiving the task to completing the entire design drawing!

Changsha Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute Co., Ltd. (CIMR)

In the early days of the outbreak, CIMR created the "Changsha Epidemic Information and Material Sharing Service Platform" and launched the "Fighting Pneumonia" column on its main "Changsha Industrial Cloud Platform" to provide regional people, governments and related enterprises and institutions with services such as information concentration, medical material sharing, and feedback on difficulties in resuming work.

In response to the tight supply and demand of masks in the market, CIMR decisively carried out the development and production of mask machines on the basis of the original robot technology, in order to effectively alleviate the problem of large-scale shortage of masks and protect the people's needs for epidemic prevention. With the support and cooperation of the company's partners, the R & D team completed the design work of all 500 drawings of the mask automatic production line in one week. It is suitable for high-speed flat earband masks and earband N95 masks with the production speed of 120 pcs / min, being stable and reliable. It has been put into production and is expected to be put on the market one after another at the end of February.

Changsha SME Service Center

Through online training and other forms, 106 small and medium-sized enterprises have been provided with policies, technology, management, and various preparations for enterprises to resume normal production and operation.

Wanshsin

Wanshsin donated a special fund of 200,000 yuan to the Wuhan epidemic area on January 30. The donation will be uniformly allocated and used by the Changsha Guangcai Business Foundation of Hunan Province.
